Oh really. Wake up. This country is controlled by corporations which have captured Congress. The only reason we don't have a one payer public health care system, like every other first world country, is that the insurance companies in this country have used their political contributions to prevent it. So continue paying insurance companies their twenty percent slice of our health care costs. Turning to the pharmaceutical companies they too have their nose in the trough. Because of their control of congress medicare and our health care system can't even bargain for prices. How is that for a free market. Welfare for the rich. Finally, you go to Canada, France or England and ask how many people want to go back to their old system by giving up their public health system and the only takers you will find will be the rich.
