First thing that comes to mind is Al Manns amount of ownership in the company. The fact that he has been reluctant to establish a partnership after a 1 billion dollar investmet may dillute his overall ownership from my understanding.

That coupled with the fact that the current trial results using the most up to date technology have yet to be completely established due to unexpected screening delays and overall completion dates as announced in the last report to investors.

Also previous crl's are not only due to the dreamboat switch but, are in regards the efficacy of the technosphere treatment with dreamboat application as well so this would need to be provn in these new trials.

Partners would want to see conclusive trial results awaiting fda appoval before investing further most likely. Mannkind is pretty far in debt atm.
