I think they probably could do a deal now, but if they did, MNKD shareholders would be livid, as I'm sure any doable deal will not look good to us right now. Potential partners are wanting too much (from company's perspective) and MNKD wants too much from potential partners' perspective. Not a good situation for a deal to be made.

One way or another, MNKD will get in front of the FrigginDA one more time - and, unless some partnership deal or great financing deal is done, this stock won't increase significantly till about 3 weeks before PDUFA date. If we can get to $5 or $6 on the eve of that date, I'll be selling a percentage and letting the rest ride. Lately, FDA approval isn't what is used to be for share prices (VVUS, ARNA, AMRN, etc), but who knows what the climate will be like by the time we are ready for our final "closeup."
