I have harped upon the fact that FDA approval means nothing if there isn't an interest in the drug/device especially if it's too expensive.
GTCB is one where FDA approval and EU approval of ATryn meant nothing. GTCB was gobbled up on the cheap. Piss poor managment. Great concept, poor execution.
Al Mann stated that they no longer survery doctors because all are unanimous by that they'd recommend Afrezza. It took the company a few years with little support from Doctors to get them to realize the benefit of AFrezza.
When Afrezza is approved (being positive here), it will be inetersting to see if doctor's end up mirroring their initial approval of Afrezza.
AND, more importantly, if insurance companies will pay for Afrezza. If so, watch out. Someone might become a millionaire! :)
