Magma Metals Limited is a mineral exploration company with precious and base metals projects in the Thunder Bay region of Ontario, Canada and the Yilgarn and East Kimberley regions of Western Australia. Magma Metals listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in June 2006 and the Toronto Stock Exchange in November 2009 and is based in Perth, Western Australia.

I started looking for a Canadium platinum explorer and after some dd, I found MMW and started to invest in the stock. Although MMW is an Australian company, its main focus is in the Thunder Bay North area on a Pt-Pd-Cu-Ni discovery.

There are approximately 164 million shares issued with an additional 22million options and as of Oct 1, 2009 there was approx $13 min cash. Institutional investors own approx 40% with Anglo American owning 12% and Anglo Pacific 10%.
