otto may be correct in that if the offer is rejected, mag's share price will fall to where its peers are trading. but is that the end of the world? mag has $58 million in cash, and can afford to wait for years for the market to recover. why unload the company now at a fire-sale price? if you think the silver price will never be above $10 again, then this is a good opportunity to sell not just mag, but every other mining stock. but if you think silver will move higher next year, why give away the crown jewels now, just because the share price will experience some temporary weakness?
