10:57 AM EST, 02/11/2020 (MT Newswires) -- MacDonald Mines Exploration (BMK.V) surged 16.7% to $0.07 apiece Tuesday after additional nine holes from its fall 2019 drill program resulted in two discovered zones at its SPJ Property.

The 2020 drill program is underway, with three holes from the fall 2019 program still pending, according to a statement.

Highlights from the results included a "significant discovery" in the Daytona Structure intersecting 12.10 g/t gold over 7.8 metres including 1.0 metre at 71.10 g/t gold.
