Another side to this if you look at all ROF stakeholders, CLF's is down and down big this past year due to commodities and global economic concerns. (See China). That, combined with the Ontario government's squabbles and election positioning, and first nations issues and transportation requirements are dragging down all ROF prospects of development. BMK's current stock price has nothing to do with pending results leaked or otherwise.
That said, it takes only one news release or one statement from the government committing to developing the ROF or supporting transportation and the whole area flies again. Cliffs will need a partner in this area anyway, they were never going to go it alone and at the prices currently available for mergers/acquisitions watch for that. Someone big is going to partner with Cliffs, the question is who. There are rumblings but we wait.
