Mr. H. Vance White reports

HAWK/MACDONALD MCNUGGET JV RING OF FIRE UPDATE, SECOND DRILL RIG TO TARGET NICKEL ANOMALIES ON JV GROUND

Hawk Uranium Inc. has been advised by its joint venture partner MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. that they are mobilizing a second diamond drill rig onto the McNugget property, James Bay Lowlands, Ring of Fire area, Northern Ontario. This second diamond drill rig will be collared on the prospective nickel target -- VTEM anomalies N-25 and N-26 in the vicinity of borehole MN 07-39 on the Hawk/MacDonald McNugget JV ground (see BMK press release in Stockwatch on Aug. 11, 2009 and Nov. 13, 2007 -- 27 metres averaging 0.26 per cent Ni including one-metre intersections of greater than 0.5 per cent Ni and 0.36 per cent Ni over 4.5 metres).

Hawk had previously (see HUI NR of June 23, 2010) announced the completion of a surface Geophysics Pulse EM survey by Crone Geophysics of Mississauga, Ontario over these anomalies and the interpretation and modeling indicates a step response of a conductive body trending approximately East-West with a strike length of over 300m. A second conductor may exist under one of the loop edges. Drilling on the JV ground targets is expected to commence in 10-14 days.

The Hawk/MacDonald-McNugget JV Property is a joint venture property with MacDonald covering 6 contiguous claims, or approximately 1,554 hectares, in the James Bay Lowlands, Ring of Fire Area of Northern Ontario. Hawk has a 36.75 percent interest in this joint venture, with the remaining interest held by MacDonald, who also acts as operator on the project.

Michael Newbury, P. Eng (ON), a "qualified person" as such term is defined by National Instrument 43-101, and a director of Hawk has verified the data disclosed in this news release, and has otherwise reviewed and approved the technical information in this news release on behalf of Hawk. Exploration activities are coordinated by Randy Singh, P.Geo (ON), P.Eng (ON), Exploration Manager, Hawk Uranium Inc.
