Not to be picky, but the TSX was up 508.74 for a 4.19% recovery. The TSX Venture, which is where BMK trades was up 75.41 for a recovery of 3.15%. The TSX did recover better then the venture, but was pricing in what it expected the decline would be for the Dow given it was on a holiday; thank goodness for the intervention from the Fed this morning with a .75 cut or you would have seen some absolute madness on the markets today. The jury is out as of yet as we need to see what unfolds over the next couple of days and we are not getting any help from Apple who reported after hours with less then stellar results which will put added pressure at the open tomorrow. Having said all the this I was pleased with the turnaround on the CDN markets and now we need follow throught tomorrow to see if this can be the begining of something more meaningful. Time will tell.
