AND the way he treated his partners and people was very tasteless. IN Fact it was plain luck that he ended being the person labeled as the discover of Voisey's Bay and really wanted nothing to do with it in the beginning. For sure he did manage to get every nickle (not a pun) out of the negotiations with Inco to get his 4.3B price. When I finished reading the Big Score I did not think that much of him as a person and the way he treated his partners, staff and his own family for crying out loud. He does have a past that haunts him and there is a reason why he does not operate out of North America. I do not believe he is well respected, but no doubt the followers of his style would line up behind him to make a buck at anyones expense. Sorry, I hope I was not to hard on him....
