John; Now that is a message worth reading. You said you were working on this meteor theory for the McFaulds Lake area and you indeed came through as promissed. I talked to you about this a couple of weeks ago and from what I can glean from this (pretty technical for the average reader) ,it is quite possible that this is indeed a meteor strike formation. I liked the idea that there is no visible rim by the fact that a meteor may have struck a watery surface instead of dry land. I recollect that a good portion of the Canaian interior land mass has, at least at some periods of time, been an inland sea. Your comparisons sure bring to light the possibility of McFaulds being one of the greatest Canadian mining camps ever found.
