Godfrey Gold Property, West Timmins, Ontario

MPH Ventures Corp. has acquired 100% interest in three contiguous gold exploration properties referred to as the Godfrey Gold property comprised of approximately 700 acres located in the Godfrey and Bristol Townships, Timmins Mining Division of northeastern Ontario.

The Godfrey Gold property is located 20 km west of Timmins, Ontario and 9 km northwest of the Lakeshore Gold Timmins Mine. The property covers several historical gold occurrences. Previous operators exposed a 125 metre long trench within a highly altered felsic intrusion. Multiple quartz veins and shear structures contain pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena and visible gold with grab sample assay results up to 13.8 oz/t Au (386.4 g/t Au). A sampling program in 2008 returned high grade gold results including 1.5 oz/t Au and 0.79 oz/t Au from grab samples.

An exploration program consisting of line cutting, mechanical trenching and ground geophysics is planned for the Godfrey Gold property this fall to be followed by a drilling program

The West Timmins District

The West Timmins District is the western extension of the Timmins Gold Camp and has increasingly become the focus of exploration and discovery activities in the Camp. Commencing with the discovery of the Golden River Trend in 1996 by West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM) there have been a series of significant gold discoveries in the West Timmins District.

The recent gold discovery of the 1.3 million ounce Timmins West Deposit, now owned by Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX: LSG) and the discovery of the high-grade Rusk Zone on the Thunder Creek joint venture (60% Lake Shore Gold and 40% West Timmins Mining) have focused considerable investor and industry attention on the West Timmins District.

Lake Shore Gold's Timmins West Deposit (now referred to as the Timmins Mine project) is located 18 kilometres west of Timmins and 42 kilometres by road from the Bell Creek Mill (also owned by Lake Shore Gold), where ore from the project will be treated. Lake Shore Gold has completed a pre-feasibility study and is currently working to put the property into production.

The joint venture Thunder Creek property is located immediately adjacent to Lake Shore Gold's Timmins Mine property. Since 2007, a number of encouraging exploration results have been announced on the property. Recent drill intercepts include 12.75 grams/tonne gold over 83.4 metres, 8.65 grams/tonne gold over 24.9 metres, 24.61 grams/tonne gold over 7.0 metres, and 8.65 grams/tonne gold over 9.0 metres.

The latest gold discoveries and developments in the West Timmins area have made it a very prospective location for gold exploration and mining in Canada.
