10:56 AM EDT, 09/26/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Lucara Diamond (LUC.TO) jumped 7% in recent trade, having been reiterated with an outperform rating and target price of $3.50 at BMO Capital.

BMO said with a unique diamond production mix from Karowe, which is known for its large and high-value diamonds, Lucara remains a premium diamond producer amongst its peers, the broker believes.

BMO reduced its 2017 EPS to $0.21 while keeping its 2018 estimate at $0.15.
