Another Federal Judge makes a ruling about energy development as it applies to the U.S. Sure, it is about fossil fuel development, but how many Federal Judges are there besides Judge Du that are sitting on cases involving critical mineral mining in the U.S. that could just as easily go one way or another, could just as easily be thrown by "the Judge" back into the political and highly biased world of the U.S. Department of the Interior?
"The decision Thursday by U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras in Washington sends the proposed lease sale back to the Interior Department to decide next steps. The judge said it was up to Interior to decide whether to go forward with the sale after a revised review, scrap it or take other steps."
Will we see critical potential mining development cases sent "back to the Interior Department to decide next steps" by the Biden Administration? Just asking. I guess I have some fear about the potential for this as it relates to Thacker Pass and am just wondering if the same fait could occur with Thacker Pass? Hope my fears are completely without merit. WB DT has shown us that April will likely be the time when Judge Du does the Du, if not even later. I am not going to have "peace of mind" regarding Thacker Pass until she reveals her decree on TP, regardless of how the unity of the "resistance" to Thacker Pass may be unraveling during the interim period. You never know for sure what the judiciary is going to "Du".
