It's always good to see what the competition is up to. Toward the end of the interview, PLL's CEO Keith Phillips talked of potential partnerships and acquisitions. This got me thinking, what if LAC and PLL were to form a partnership or even go so far as to merge. This would diversify both businesses, ensure their collective position as the the biggest US producer, and increase their pricing power. If anyone finds this thought intriguing and sees any promise, or alternatively why this would not be of interest to either party, please share your thoughts.
