Thanks, Jdice, for giving that link.

The first thing that caught my attention in that presentation was the chart from Benchmark on page 4 showing the projected increase in demand for lithium vs the projected increase in supply, with the increase in supply shown as known production, highly probably production and probable production.  The supply components don't seperate, lag behind, the demand curve until at least sometime in 2025 or 2026 if I am interpreting that graph correctly.

IF that graph from Benchmark is truly predictive of what will transpire for the lithium demand vs supply issue during the next several years then Lithium Americas investors will have to wait until 2026, the current projected year for completion of the Thacker Pass Mine, in order to see a seperation of demand ahead of supply and, therefore, a true expectation of a significant increase in "investor value" regarding the share price.

Like all projections of the future, there are many "intangibles" that are impossible to incorporate into such a projection.  Barring the arrival of one of those "intangibles" then this graph gives both hope and frustration at the same time to Lithium Americas investors, both those invested in LAC and those invested in LAAC.  Frustration comes from the same "Hurry Up and Wait" scenario that old time Lithium Americas investors have seen over the last decade and more, depending on just how "old time" they are.  The "Hope" comes from the possibility that bottom of the barrel prices for lithium will not be a permanent fixture and that as the lithium price ascends out of the mud into the fresh air (I won't give pause to the use of the word "Stratosphere") then the whole promise of "Investor Value" may indeed some day be more than an unfullfilled promise from both Lithium Americas management and those faithful to their long, long term investment... myself included.

Who in this group of Lithium Americas "faithful" truly thought 5 years ago that we would be in the precarious situation that we are now?  "Not I" said the soothsayer.  And I have to include myself in that reply:  "Not I".  It is what it is.

Onward through the FOG!
