It has been a very rough few days. What stings the most for me, is from March 2022 to now, virtually everything catalyst-wise has gone in LAC's favour. The legal battles, the strat partnership, the C-O ramp up. IMO the only reason we are in a position where the SP has declines so tramatically instead of seeing new highs is factors put of the companies control. It's an unfortunate reality, but here we are.

Those that sold LAC to buy up LAAC early post split did well, but I'm sure there were those that did the reverse and would have been killed. I personally more or less have been holding my same even shares.

Lots of uncertainty in the world right now unfortunately, and the recent downgrades of the top lithium stocks, the renewed forcasts for short term oversupply due to reduced demand, and Tesla's recent missed earnings report, have put a ton of downward pressure across the board on lithium stocks. Not to mention the decline in the lithium prices, which on a positive note, are showing some early signs of stabilizing.

I wasn't an investor during the 2017 boom bust cycle, but one thing history has taught us is that even though there are brutal sell offs like this, there will be a new cycle, and it will likely be larger than the previous.

I'm beaten pretty badly from this massive sell off over the last year and a half. Thankfully i did manage to implement some risk management near the top, so i currently have about 1/2 of my initial investment from 2019 sitting in cash. In hindsight I should have sold a lot more at the top, but the constant gains in the low interest environment of 2019/20 was intoxicating. There are a lot of investing lessons I have gleaned this last year or so. One of which is to always an exit plan and sell mythodically on the way up little by little.

Sorry for the long somewhat personal post. It feels therapeutic to vent a bit ;) I'm sure a lot of us have incurred some very painful paper losses this last year and a half.

Here's hoping this winter we may be going through won't last too long and we will bounce back stronger than before.
