Yes, Reno is the closest large city. Boise Idaho is a close second. A shareholders meeting would be fun for an evening. So you might need to pick up the hobby of HAM radios so you have other topics of conversation. And since I don't have an interest in that you might have to throw out a few other interests to spawn ideas for optional activities during your stay. 

I would advocate a fun game: After developing the participant list we would all have to submit each other physical appearance prior to the initial meeting and then read our physical description to one another after a few beers/drinks. And of course, we should do this once they finally break ground at TP.
