Jimmyll, I very much appreciated your comments, especially with your experience as a General Contractor in the Northern Nevada area. That background carries a lot of weight behind your perspective for LAC in regards to the Thacker Pass situation. As a Sparks, Nevada resident I can confirm your statement about so much construction going on all the time in the Reno area. Traffic bottlenecks all over Reno/Sparks are a common occurence for any driver here in Northern Nevada due to construction sites. As for new apartments and homes here... WOW! Show me one part of Reno or Sparks that doesn't have some new multi-family apartment complex or new home in construction. It seems like everyone wants to move to Reno/Sparks now. Growth is a 2 edged sword and drivers here in the Great Basin have more frustration every day because of traffic that used to be only common on the other side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, not here in Nevada. I can only imagine how "Native Nevadans" feel about "Who let the dogs out?" with so many people from all over the U.S. moving to this area. No longer is it just angry Californians who have had enough of insane taxes and absurd social programs... now we see the incoming license plates from every corner of the U.S. No doubt I am preaching to the choir about this massive influx to Northern Nevada, those of us who live here are reminded of it every day we are on the streets and highways of Northern Nevada.
The significant change you mentioned, Jimmyll, in regard to LAC has several possibilities but I think the one with the most secure chances of becoming reality right now will be the start of production for Cauchari-Olaroz. Look again at that video update from the company showing the level of completion of the facilities at Cauchari-Olaroz. C-O is no longer just a dream, the physical plant on the ground is no longer just a skeleton of its final form. It looks so close to being an exact replica of what the completed plant will appear. We are truly "almost there" as it relates to production at C-O... and that is a "significant change". I can't help but be excited about how close we are there in Argentina and how the start of production there will be a positive influence on the company in the eyes of all who have been invested for years in LAC and, probably much more importantly, in the eyes of those who will become invested in LAC in the near term future.
