I think one could extend the correlation during this downtrend beyond lithium stocks to the green sector in general, so in that way I'm not convinced for the most part of the causality specific to Tesla suggested by Jerry. We've all seen this rodeo before in terms of LAC price getting way ahead of itself and then falling back hard, only to jump again. LAC's price is obviously the result of a myriad factors and it would seem that this time the downward trend is coincidental with the reaction to their recent unsustainable vertical climb, combined with hyper inflation worries and the Fed, and that darn Omicron. I do notice a certain correlation between LAC and various green entities, and even to the S&P 500, no doubt due to LAC's increasing inclusion in a variety of ETFs, but ultimately I believe LAC will overperform all of these for reasons we're all aware of.
So no great analysis on my part, just impressions.
