Blockade Thacker Pass is in luck, today anyway.  Orovada, Nevada is currently only at 118 AQI, but it looks like on the map that the local AQI out at Thacker might actually be somwhere between the "Unhealthy" to "Very Unhealthy" range since the color on the air quality map is a little darker for that area where the Thacker Blockade tents are pitched.  Cough, cough!!

Nothing like fresh air... nothing!  Then, of course, there is all that additional smoke from the camp fire as well.  Maybe they have "air purifiers" set up at the camp site?  No, on second thought, those purifiers would require electrical hook ups to work and that would go against the anti-industrial dogma of DGR, Will and Max with their common goal of eliminating anything to do with industrial society.  Too bad, eh? 

Well, forest fires might be more in line with that philosophy since the fires wipe out buildings, towns, cars, trucks, other forms of internal combusition machines, electrical distribution lines and telephone lines that are otherwise part of an industrialized society.
