Message: Mining a clay material

If one wants to learn about mining spodumene, it is easy to research and even watch videos. If you want to know about lithium brine processing, there is plenty of graphic information available. But tell me, am I missing something or is mining and successfully processing a softer, and often claylike material a major unknown?  I have seen some graphics of cyclonic separators that might be used for this. And there may be scads of lithium per ton of raw material at Thacker Pass, but getting it out of the mined raw product in a scaled up manner still seems to be an expensive, secretive proposition. I believe that LAC is not in a great financial position without a major partner, and that management is just sitting on their hands, waiting for a white knight.
