Message: Its coming.

Cal, I couldn't help but notice one part of that article to which you provided the link:

"Fastmarkets understands that the Cauchari-Olaroz project will be a low-cost source of battery-grade lithium carbonate and is expected to come online no earlier than the first half of 2022."

So we go from 2019 to 2020 to 2021 to "early in 2022" to "no earlier than the first half of 2022".  LAC now has the distinction of being "productive", productive in the sense of producing a new location for the Goal Post over and over again.

No doubt, the current Covid-19 surge world wide is having a terrible impact on the markets in general and lithium mining is no exception, however the mobility of the production date by LAC administration has definitely also had a significant "downer" effect on LAC's share price.  LAC can butter up the bad news with any concommitant semblance of sweetning the deal, but the appearance to many current stock owners and to prospective stock owners is one of double dealing on the part of LAC.

Perceptions count in the market place, especially when you are talking about Share Price.  It isn't the fault of LAC administration that Covid-19 reared its ugly head and had such a negative impact on the world's economy, but LAC administration does take the blame for the hyper mobility of the production Goal Post.

Even a token production output in H2 of 2021 would be far better than this "early 2022" proclamation since it has transmogrified now to "no earlier than the first half of 2022".  It seems without saying that we are now anticipating the other shoe to drop and "no earlier than the first half of 2022" will transform into "no earlier than the second half of 2022", etc.

Note to LAC administration:  Your facility in moving the production Goal Post at Cauchari-Olaroz does not begin to build confidence in your present investors, nor does it serve as a shining example to prospective investors.

John Evans, you need to immediately put out a NR that LAC is committed to going into production ( even if it is miniscule compared to the final production numbers ) "no LATER than the 1st Quarter of 2022.. but, only if you want to stop the loss of investor confidence.  You can only play the Shell Game with production dates for so long before there are no investors left to bamboozle.

This mobile Goal Post stuff needs to stop, now!  JMO  I realize my opinion may be at odds with everyone on this Hub, but frankly I have had almost "enough" of this Shell Game and Covid-19 is only one factor.  One more movement of the production Goal Post further out on the  Time Line will define the ultimate in duplicity by management.   Okiedo
