Liberty Mines Announces Board Changes


Edmonton, Alberta CANADA, May 27, 2011 /FSC/ - Liberty Mines Inc. (LBE - TSX), is pleased to announce that the AGM will be held at the Toronto Board of Trade - Downtown Centre in Toronto on June 28, 2011


At this AGM shareholders will be asked to consider and vote on the nomination of a smaller Board of five members. As a result of the reduction in size of the Board (intended to be more flexible and more readily permit expansion in the event of any significant corporate transactions), Mr. Xu Guangping and Mr. Wang Xingrui will be retiring from the Board but remain available to the Company as consultants


The Company wishes to thank the retiring Directors for their selfless service.


A total of 1,505,000 incentive share purchase options have been granted to Officers, Directors and employees to acquire shares at $0.115 per share for a period of three years with vesting periods varying from immediate to three years.
