Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
So, besides a phonecall from Dr. Nash to Wanderer, isn't there a better way to disseminate what is pretty substantial company news?
http://agoracom.com/ir/LibertyMines/...
Here's what the company recently said they will do:
Edmonton, Alberta CANADA, April 07, 2009 /FSC/ - Liberty Mines Inc. (LBE - TSX),
At the request of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada on behalf of the Toronto Stock Exchange, Liberty Mines Inc. ("Liberty or the Company") confirms that a definitive agreement for a financing is nearing completion. The financing is structured to resolve the debt referenced in the February 26, 2009 press release; to pay current payables and; to provide some working capital. Upon successful completion of the definitive agreement, a press release will be issued specifying the details of the financing. "
Yet it seems we get to hear about the Chinese taking a 51% controlling interest in LBE in a weekend newspaper article ( The Financial Post )

I guess if the shares are not trading becuase of the Friday CTO from the IIROC, then it may not matter how things are disseminated that are fairly material to company matters. The stock definitely is in "after market hours" now
I am interested in seeing those details and seeing if the scenario, as painted by JES, may in fact be right. ....Will there be share dilution or not?
The Chinese look to have paid 30 million dollars to get their 20 million back? At what price will the nickel go for in paying the previous dept back? What strings are attached by the Chinese as they are the ones calling the shots here? They will surely have their own management team and or BOD to install. The nickel is now spoken for as we see more of the "chinese takeout" now taking place right here in the Shaw Dome. Can't say these guys didn't have a vested interest and they did have their foot in this door in a big way. JES has been right on many occasions going forward.
What if it went private? It's all about the Chinese securing raw resources isn't it?
