Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
John,
I think you are coming up with a conspiracy when there was not one. Many of us never understood the effects of decreasing metal prices until it was too late. Our relationship with ISM and the constant bashing has not helped us either. This whole economic situation has meant that if a company had to go to the market it was going to be crucified. We have been!
With McWatters, if after the PDAC last year, the company had understood what was happening there would have been a PP at $1.37 and no doubt we would have heard bitching then too! We went for loans and there was bitching. I think we have been chasing metal prices for two years now but what is done is done!
We are halted. We have two weeks to get our financial statements done and get our "house" in order. It is going to take at least that long too. News was released but not all the details. When the details get released both companies have to agree with the messages. It is published on both web sites. We have time zones to deal with. There are alot of things to do and yes we can rant but what is it going to get you because there is nothing anyone can do about it!
From what I have seen the Chinese have been very successful people. They are dealing with many companies (including ours) and I as a shareholder want to see success for my investment. The Chinese do too and for now that means we want to see progress and advancement with our projects. Call me naive or anything else. Pick on me all you want because at the end of the day the situation does not change! I look forward to a positive relationship between our two companies and our two countries!
