Laterite is so darn expensive to mine. This mine seemed doomed from the get go from all the previous articles I have found on Raventhorpe, heck it's all about timing isn't it?

For both ISM and LBE or even GCR, I would say it makes the non-laterite possibles all that much more attractive. I would think that anyone with low low costs to produce becomes very attractive in these times. Sulphides ores with a nice helping of credit minerals maybe even a large open pit operation and should be a better future in store for anyone in Ontario let alone the Shaw Dome circle filling that mold.

Supply curtailments should be helping, China has pulled some whacky moves though despite what is going on around them. Increasing production despite a shrinking market for their product?? Who knows?
