I meant by this where the US committed money towards buying bad mortgages to free up money for the US banks - they instead went out and bought shares in US companies.

There are lots of companies that are selling at bargain basement prices. I include Lbe in this category. It takes time to come to agreements so until we know the result we just have to wait. Lets hope for better times ahead.
