On the news here yesterday is was pointed out that the government, after purchasing this bad debt, would likely sell it to get what they can for it, and these same companies are already positioning to buy it back at rock-bottom prices. Further, as the expectation is that the management of this fiasco will be contracted-out, these same companies are vying for the management contract.

Reminds me of a dog chasing his tail.
