I have known some Canadians over there and unfortunately the news does not really cover the good that they are doing. Trades are being taught, the girls are in school, roads are being built, the police trained - to name a few.

Afghanistan has never been captured. Does that tell you about the people and the terraine.

As far as politicians - I guess someone has to do the job. I just wish sometimes that when a country is going through hard times that our members could step outside of their political parties and do what is good for the country.
