Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
Dear Buxom1,
I have tremendous respect for you as one of the top quality posters on this board. That said, I feel impelled to comment on your post which provided advice on how to moderate this board:
"I would limit the posts by ISM bb supporters stringently given that what I have noticed is that some of the bb posters come and post positive items on the lbe forum and say not so positive things on their bb."
I do not see any validity in limiting posts based on whether or not someone is or is not a supporter of the ISM board. Who cares if they post not so positive things about LBE on the ISM board? Why would that stop if they were not allowed to post on this board?
"Also I must admit that Whaler's exuberance on the LBE board posting items that he/she thinks will benefit LBE bb posters truly baffles me as his/her role (for lack of a better word) is to monitor the ISM board and leave the posting of LBE to the LBE appointed folks. Just my take on things."
With all due respect, this is an example of the ridiculous "us against them" mentality that many people seem to hold. If anyone is posting good things here, great, let's have more of it and less of the slanderous crap that we get too much of.

It is my opinion that posts should be removed if they are slanderous, malicious, frivolous and vexatious, completely false or off-topic, or part of an obvious fight between 2 or more individuals. If a poster keeps that sort of thing up, then that poster should be removed. But any idea that suggests a person cannot post on the LBE forum because he or she supports the ISM or any other board should be completely rejected. Removal should be based only on content.
Respectfully yours,
Bluenoser
