Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
Do you believe there is such a thing as a super stock that will never go down when the commodity they are mining goes down 40%?
Buba Bob wrote in Dec 07 - There will be a few small investors who will sell out of fear, due to a lack of understanding. And there will be those that will take their tax losses prior to year end knowing that the stock price will probably be suppressed for the 1st quarter of 2008 and they can likely get back in. ...Those that have sold will be scurrying to get back in as the share price steadily moves up and levels off in Jan-Mar 2009.******
You wrote the following things affected share priceThe price of nickel and the expectations for the company changed. The drop in the nickel price is obviously going to affect nickel producers. Profits won't be as high if they sell at $10 rather than $20. It has less effect on explorers because in that case people are betting on what the company will find, rather than what it will sell.Expectations for LBE changed as well. Lbe is running the mill part time Investors were expecting some results by now that would have boosted the reserve base. LBE has to supass expectations, whether it's on cash flow, profit, drilling results or whatever, for the price of the shares to start going up again.*******
Your perception Of Lbe has actually been right on as far as the price of nickel etc. What I find questionable is your negativity about everything to do with Lbe. Why hold shares (which you so recently bought if you can not find anything good to say about it?
For example - You called our Hart drill core results a wash (ex miner that you be) and did not even confirm why the values were NEV. I would have assumed coordinates would have be checked and dips would be confirmed before you called down our results. Pretty basic I would have thought. The size of the resource has nearly doubled in terms of estimated size from its historic resource of 900,000 tonnes of 0.9% Ni. What will propel the share more is when the continuation of the resouce is found below the felsic dyke. That seems pretty positive. McWatters feasibility study gave a 58% increase in resource. That is positive.
