I agree with John. This is a good forum and we have the power to keep it that way.

We are self-policing. If we cannot convice someone to stay on-topic or to refrain from online pointless quarrelling, we can ignore them and/or report them to Agoracom for further discipline.

The worst thing we can do is just give up and let this thing go to hell in a hand-basket.

I have only ignored 3 people, all in the last few days, and I am not seeing anymore of the crap and have still been seeing the quality posts. At least one of those people I had ignored on SH as well. I would encourage others to take the same action rather than bailing out.

I have sent a PM to Freedom30 asking that he reconsider and rejoin the group.

Let's use the tools at our disposal to save this forum, and let's not allow it to be destroyed by a few people with little regard for others in it.
