ExSudburyGuy (from another exsudburyguy here),

You are correct there is risk here, and as John says, we have to pay off the loan PDQ. What I am betting on though is that we will operationalize the assets and pay off the loan quickly on the revenue from the assets.

To put things in perspective about my earlier post though, I should say that LBE is a small part of my investment portfolio. Although I am sitting on mostly cash right now because of uncertainty, I am using holding on to Teck, Cominco, a bank or two and a few others. And I am looking for bargains in those areas.

In my opinion, as far as risky ventures go, LBE has less risk than others because it has real assets and the likely promise of more. And at these prices it has a lot of potential for increase.

But I did not blow all my cash today on LBE. I made a pretty modest investment to increase my position because I have bought it at higher prices when there was less information on deposits than there is now.

Everyone should do their own DD and make their own decisions though.

Cheers,

Bluenoser
