When one looks over the years at LSG's exploration history, you have to conclude the results have been dismal at best. Timmins West, Vogel and Schumacher all had indicated resources so they dont really count. Those properties just had to be further drilled to expand the resource and cannot be included as "new" discoveries. Thunder Creek is the best new discovery they have, but considering their knowledge base from next door at Timmins West, it was expected LSG would find more ore.
But what about the other properties they have drilled? Blakelock....a dud, Canopener......a dud, Noranda North..... a dud, and so on with the like of Price, DeSantis, North Price, Bazooka,Little Abitibi and others. So what LSG really needs to start the SP moving is finding a new ore body. This great proprietary map from Inco sources we keep hearing about has yet to come up with any significant new discovery. Maybe these duds are hangovers from the Booth days, but LSG has to hire a top notch geologist to get their exploration properties producing better results. C'mon Tony, lets go out and get some quality exploration people.
I haven't given up on Canopener completely and today would be a good day to release some results. Any news would at least inform the shareholder as to what is going on out there.
