LRAD Corporation Announces Over $1 Million in New Asian Public Safety and Wildlife Control Orders
Follow-On Emergency Warning/Mass Notification Order Also Received

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 1, 2013 - LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world’s leading provider of long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), announced today it has received new LRAD® systems orders totaling over $1 million for Asian public safety, wildlife control and emergency warning/mass notification. The orders are anticipated to ship this quarter. “We are experiencing increasing LRAD systems demand in Asia across our primary market applications due to the successful implementation of targeted business development strategies and the efforts of our personnel and Asian business partners,” said Tom Brown, president and CEO of LRAD Corporation. “We’ve received over $2 million in orders from Asia this quarter with further orders anticipated.”
