LRAD Corporation Receives LRAD 360XTM Order for
Asian Port City Tsunami Warning Installation
Modular System Broadcasts Highly Intelligible Voice Messages Up to 2 Miles

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 8, 2013 – LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world's leading provider of long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), announced today it has received a $369,000 LRAD 360X order for an earthquake and tsunami warning mass notification installation in an Asian port city. The order resulted from the successful trial installation announced last June.

The LRAD 360X is the newest system in the Company's proprietary Long Range Acoustic Device® (LRAD®) product line. The LRAD 360X broadcasts powerful emergency/warning sirens and highly intelligible multi-language voice messages in a 360° pattern over distances up to 2 miles. The LRAD 360X is modular enabling customization of the broadcast area and mass notification footprint.
