Val-d’Or, Quebec, November 17, – Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX)
("Knick Exploration" or "the Company") has
completed a program of mechanical stripping, mapping and sampling, on its newly discovered gold area situated in the eastern part of its East-West property (see news releases July 29 and September 1, 2009 ). The stripping has exposed shearing and quartz veining over an area of 15 x 85 meters. Channel samples assayed up to 38.26g/t gold over 0.50m. Seventeen channel samples assayed between 1.0g/t and 38.26g/t gold and averaged 7.08 g/t gold. Channel sample lengths ranged from 0.30 to 2.0 meters. The Main vein assayed up to 10.01g/t gold over 0.40 meters. Two channels taken across the North vein retuned 38.26g/t and 26.67g/t gold over 0.50 and 0.90 meters, respectively. The initial gold located by prospecting/sampling this summer has been proved up by the stripping. Diamond drilling under the high grade gold channel samples has begun. Drill testing near surface and along strike of the stripped area is ongoing.
