LONDON, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Gold hit a record high above
$1,323 an ounce on Tuesday as the euro rose to a session high
versus the dollar, traders said.

Spot gold touched an all-time high at $1,324.15 an
ounce and was at $1,324.20 an ounce by 0742 GMT, versus
$1,315.20 an ounce on Monday.

U.S. December gold futures also rallied to a
contract-high at $1,325.1 an ounce and was last at $1,325.
