07:16 AM EDT, 07/12/2016 (MT Newswires) -- Klondex Mines (KDX.TO) said it is reaffirming its production guidance for 2016 even as Q2 output hit record levels.
The company expects 2016 production of 145,000 to 150,000 gold equivalent ounces. which is split approximately 45%-50% in the first half of 2016 and 50%-55% in the second half of 2016.
During the quarter, gold equivalent produced were 41,436 ounces, consisting of 29,067 ounces from Fire Creek and 12,320 ounces from Midas. The progressive rise was primarily due to an increase in tons mined and milled.
The stock rose to $5.80 at closing on Monday, at the top half of 52-week range $2.56 - $5.87.
