10:16 AM EST, 01/19/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Kirkland Lake Gold (KL.TO) added 1% in recent trade, having been reiterated with an outperform rating and target price of $24.50 at BMO Capital.

BMO said Kirkland Lake recently completed the merger with Newmarket Gold, and the company intends to explore its large land packages in Canada and Australia.

BMO still expects 2017 EPS to be $0.57 but reduced its 2018 estimate to $1.09.
