** Desjardins raises PT to C$24 from C$20, expects higher productivity and lower cost from new equipment and infrastructure at Macassa mine in Canada

** Upgrades to "buy" from "hold", says KL Gold could continue to surprise market expectations, driven by operational results and ongoing exploration at Macassa

** 9 of 10 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher and 1 "hold"; Median PT $20.75

** Up to Friday's close, stock had risen 152 pct this year (Reporting by Karan Nagarkatti in Bengaluru)
