09:52 AM EDT, 06/30/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Kirkland Lake Gold (KLG.TO) slipped in recent trade after BMO Capital upgraded the stock to outperform while increasing its target price to $15.25.

BMO said Kirkland Lake recently completed the merger with Newmarket Gold, and the company intends to explore its large land packages in Canada and Australia.

BMO boosted its EPS forecast to $0.70 for 2017 while cutting its 2018 estimate to $0.95.
