I agree that the Winston acquisition is not a good one. Tahera was a prime example how a "supposed" huge diamond discovery can be a complete failure. Many millions were invested in Nunavit's facility and even the Prime Minister was at the official opening, increasing the hype. I seem to remember that Teck even bought in. Then it completely collapsed within months. Hence I no longer trust this type of operation. Too many risk factors, from discovery, mining, processing and then a selling arm. It's the gold mines AND, of course the Equador discovery, that will make our company (Kinross) succesful, not to mention make us all money . However, it's long range in my opinion.
