intogold,
I use Schwab as my broker, and when I called them, they had to check with their foreign division, and when they did they found no news as to when Kinross would be acquiring the shares.
Kinross supposedly has sent out a compulsory acquisition form that was mailed on Sept 30....they would have to go to your broker and then to you, so it has been taking about 2 weeks for them to arrive...after that you have to figure out if you will now tender or still hold out for the court judgement.
I am going to tender my IRA shares, so that I can move funds into other stocks... but I won't be tendering my Roth IRA shares or my wife's IRA shares, because I have a longer time frame for them, so they will be held for the court to judge their "fair value".....!
Best Regards,
Long for Cash
