Good to get a meaty response.

Kimber has given a lot of vexing starts and stops over the past few years, doubling or tripling from a low multiple times, then giving all or most of it back.

I'd trimmed my Kimber position greatly because I tired of one too many givebacks. However, I've taken to buying when price is in the mid 1.50s and trading out in the 1.60s.

However, I'm given pause regarding this strategy by recent action. We are in the sweet spot of overall precious metals seasonality. Kimber has participated in this calendar phenomenon inthe past -- I remember a tripling run a few years back that put daily smiles on my face. I also like the Kimber management, the properties and the potential. Why not $5, I ask?

I'm not sure I'm a big supporter of going the production route, however. The transition from explorer to producer can be a tough one. And, there are many small producers currently selling for prices that don't seem to reflect the potential of their production. I have been looking at these small producers and wondering when they start to run.

It seems explorers are "sexier" and more likely to get a run from good drill results, than producers are from actual production.

Regardless, I will eagerly await Monday's action and will have to decide to sell a pop, or add in the hopes of bigger things in the near future.

Good luck to all of us keeping the Kimber faith. It's curious regarding this stock that it seems to generate little or no messageboard activity. It used to be a very active board here, but no more. Traffic is virtually nonexistent on Yahoo or Stockhouse. Maybe this hints at an under-the-radar stock with legs to run when the visibility gets higher. Of course, the pursuit of such higher visibility was something Sitting Bull used to preach here, even making YouTube videos to help the cause.

Regardless, anyone know of any other messageboards where Kimber is active?
