Creating value through Exploration and Development in the Sierra Madre of Mexico
It's ironic that in the article to which you linked, a reference is made to a prognosticator predicting the bull market of the 1980s, which occurred after his death.
It reminds me of the famous Keynes quip that, in the long run, we're all dead. Timing, in life, death, or investing, is a key component.
Instant gratification in investing seldom is achieved. However, it gives pause to holders of an exploration stock in an asset area that is in a long-running bull market -- as gold is -- that has recently announced positive results -- as Kimber has -- yet results of said stock as measured by share price are not spectacular, or even positive, but instead ratchet downward.
The best take for mental serenity is to view junior gold stocks as calls without expiration dates. The payoff may be minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years away. It also may never arrive. That is a possibility, too. Nothing is guaranteed. Just ask shareholders of BP. The passage of time will provide the answer regarding Kimber. But waiting is not easy, and that probably best explains the lack of champagne and caviar talk on this message board.
