Elizabeth, I have communicated with Matt Hamilton since we last spoke. The scoping study is indeed expected out before the New York Hard Assets Show.
Keep in mind, announcements, even favorable ones, don't always move the stock. Human psychology moves the stock and how that ties in to the relationship between supply and demand.

Here's something else to think about, however. If Sprott is selling, someone else is buying, i.e. soaking up all that excess supply that Sprott is providing. Based on my own research, I think those buyers are probably large Canadian Banks who are short the stock and are trying to cover their short positions. Supply is matching demand. This is why the stock is sticking right around $1.05-$1.15 range.

If this type of game is going on, perhaps facilitated by Sprott himself in order to help out Canadian Banking Interests (let them get gracefully out of their positions) in exchange for other favors or information. (Remember, Sprott is no boyscout. He has a lot of connections with a lot of big Canadian banks and probably a lot of friends there too.) Then it makes sense that it would start speeding up a bit if such parties to these trades are concerned about the possible effects a favorable announcement before the Hard Assets Show would have on the stock price.

Thus we have seen a spike up in the volume over the past few weeks.

What I am saying is that the scoping study might be a potential driver to the stock price going into the New York Hard Assets Show. The volume increase over the past few weeks might be a clue that this might happen. However, no one can know for sure.

Also, James Dines will speak at the show. I'd encourage you to see him in person. If you can't be there, you can always buy the CD of his lectures after the show from the web site:http://www.hardassetsny.com/Pages/default.aspx which I plan to do. All the best, Bull
