you can have deflation and inflation at the same time....GAs prices can fall and food can go up...The housing prices are deflating(and should continue)even though they were at abnormal levels..If teh prices "deflate"it is still deflation..As for the currency yes we will see inflation...,remember the value of gold never changes just how many dollars it takes to buy an ounce....
